Field Season Happenings 2023— Wildlife Fencing

TNCVA staff, Nathan and Ian, have been out helping The Nature Conservancy prepare the valley for winter! As cattle leave the valley, some fences are laid to rest. The establishment of let-down fencing allows fencing to be laid down over the winter season to reduce habitat fragmentation and ease ungulate migration. The Centennial Valley is a key migratory corridor for a variety of ungulates, including elk and pronghorn, and maintenance of wildlife fencing is important. Happy migration to all our wildlife!

Thanks to Hannah Robles, TNC, for the photos and update!!
