Be Bear-Aware

The Centennial Valley is grizzly bear territory. Grizzly bears are historically an open space, prairie dwelling species, so they are not only found in the forested areas of the Centennial Valley, but also in the sagebrush, sandhills, meadows, and riparian areas. No matter where you choose to travel to or recreate in the valley, it is very important to be Bear Aware and carry bear spray.
